Step into the extraordinary as Studio 1608 proudly presents our highly anticipated annual November Art Show: Nouveaux. For over 30 years, Studio 1608 has been a cornerstone of the creative community—a celebration of vision, talent, and expression that bridges generations of artists. This November, the tradition continues with fresh, inspiring works from our newest artists alongside the remarkable pieces of our veteran lifers who have defined Studio 1608 over the decades.

This show will be accepting donations for Pipers Angels Foundation. Our very own Stephen Johnson has committed to paddle over 80 miles across the Atlantic Gulf Stream - from Bimini, Bahamas to Lake Worth Beach, Florida - on June 23rd, 2024, all  to raise funds for Piper’s Angels Foundation. 

Piper’s Angels raises awareness and funds, and provides socially innovative solutions to those living with cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. There is no known cure, and the disease demands significant treatments every single day.

Get ready for another collaboration Series between Maison Palmer + Studio 1608.  We are once again excited to partner with Maison Palmer for a series of 3 art shows from now until April. Studio 1608 has been at the epicenter of the local art scene for over 30 years. Nestled between the Norton Museum of Art and Antique Row, Studio 1608 houses seven full time artist studios and a 1,000 square foot main gallery space. On the buildings first floor are two staples in the community: Steven Johnson Framing and Hindman Auctions. 

Maison Palmer will bring you three meticulously curated exhibitions comprised of living artists from our Palm Beach County community. We will start the season January 19, 2024 with a VIP preview of an art exhibition entitled “The Knew & The Known.” This show highlights seasoned artist and emerging artist that reside in our community. The show will be open to the public from January 20 until the Finissage Show on Sunday February 11 from 12-4pm.

 In March we will have the return of “Contemporaries” which exhibits an array of Modern and Contemporary artists. Lastly, the season will culminate with a themed exhibition entitled “The Art of Dance”. This exhibition will showcase works in all mediums inspired by dance. Be sure to sign up to be on the VIP list and stay tuned for more dates and information.

Collaboration Series between Maison Palmer + Studio 1608.  Studio 1608 has been at the epicenter of the local art scene for over 30 years. Nestled between the Norton Museum of Art and Antique Row, Studio 1608 houses seven full time artist studios and a 1,000 square foot main gallery space. On the buildings first floor are two staples in the community: Steven Johnson Framing and Hindman Auctions. Due to the success of Maison Palmer’s first exhibition - held in one of the seven private artist studios last season - we have partnered with them to take over the main gallery space for the 2023 Season.

We are please to announce the Third Collaboration Exhibition, called "Collaboration." This final exhibition will showcase some of the hottest emerging artists in our community coupled with the already established artists of Studio 1608, opening your eyes to the incredible artists living in your community. The VIP Preview on Friday, March 10 is by RSVP only and starts at 5pm. It will open to the public March 11-12 and the following weekend March 18-19 from 12:00-4:00. During the week the show is only available by appointment.

What better way to ring in the New Year than to announce the dates of a newly curated art exhibition series with a collaboration between Maison Palmer + Studio 1608.  Studio 1608 has been at the epicenter of the local art scene for over 30 years. Nestled between the Norton Museum of Art and Antique Row, Studio 1608 houses seven full time artist studios and a 1,000 square foot main gallery space. On the buildings first floor are two staples in the community: Steven Johnson Framing and Hindman Auctions. Due to the success of Maison Palmer’s first exhibition - held in one of the seven private artist studios last season - we have partnered with them to take over the main gallery space for the 2023 Season.

Maison Palmer is planning three curated art shows that will exhibit work created exclusively by local artists living in our community. The first show in mid-January titled “Ripple,” is a themed exhibition that draws inspiration from where we live and focuses on works of art inspired by water and sand. The VIP Preview on Friday, January 13 is by RSVP only and starts at 5pm. It will open to the public January 14-15 and the following weekend January 21-22 from 12:00-4:00. During the week the show is only available by appointment. 

Along with our Studio 1608 Resident Artists, we are pleased to exhibit works by Nicolas Grant, Lauren Pilla, Kyle Lucks, Sarah LaPierre, and Lydia M. E. Schrader. 

The second show in February will be called “A Moment in Time,” showcasing how photography captures the world we live now to preserves it for the future. The season will culminate with the third exhibition “Modern and Contemporary Art in our Community,” scheduled in March the weekend before the famed convention center art show called Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary. This final exhibition will showcase some of the hottest emerging artists in our community coupled with the already established artists of Studio 1608, opening your eyes to the incredible artists living in your community.

Annual November Art Show

Every year, on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Studio 1608 has our annual November Art Show. Our Season Starter! This year, our artists invited some of their friends for a fun + fresh Art Show.
